Daily Deviationthe cradle by *hclay: The lone tree is an archetypal image with which we are all quite familiar, but what distinguishes this photograph from others of similar subject matter is the concept of a tree in a cradle of its surroundings. The subdued colors and delicate post-processing make this a quietly dramatic piece. (Suggested by `pahness and Featured by `equivoque)
